Earth Player chapter 32

 Irish Town (14)

Watson, the Survivor.

The three meals a day at the mercenary group's site are all cooked by ordinary chefs. The wages are very cheap. It costs less than 3 silver coins a month to hire two chefs, which is one-third of the price of a tier 1 water beast core.

The food in this world is definitely worse than the various recipes on Earth. It is generally more Western-style and doesn't smell or look that good.

It is better than the dark cuisine of "Looking Up at the Stars" in the UK, but it is not an exaggeration to say that it is a "desert food ".

Thanks to the desert food, Ye Mo can eat fruits for three meals a day here without drooling over dried monster meat and boiled monsters.

As long as the vegetarian food on the plate tastes a little sweeter and sourer than chestnuts, it's pretty good. The requirements are not high.

The most imported variety in this world is alcohol.

Wine, yellow beer, fruit wine, plant wine, etc. are all available, with alcohol content ranging from low to high. Mercenaries who live on the edge of a knife often like to drink a sip, but the alcohol content before and after the mission is different.

Ye Mo also tasted a glass of fruit wine, which tasted okay, and was different from freshly squeezed juice.

During lunch, Captain Hook formally invited Ye Mo to join the Wild Wolf Mercenary Group for the first time.

But Ye Mo refused for two reasons.

First, Ye Mo's goal was very clear - to kill monsters.

Her personal purpose was too strong, and she could not be unified with the mission concept of the entire mercenary group, which easily led to conflicts of all sizes. When facing conflicts in the future, would she compromise or resist her superiors?

Second, the Wild Wolf Mercenary Group is a whole.

Everyone has their own role, and Ye Mo, who can leave this world at any time, joining the team is not a good thing for her or the group.

If it is possible, I really want to book the Wild Wolf Mercenary Group for 80 days, including the consumption of potions, weapons, and rewards for individual mercenaries...

Unfortunately, there are not enough gold coins in my bag, and I can't afford it.

"If you are willing, we can continue to cooperate on some tasks."

Ye Mo provides her own force, spends 1 to 2 gold coins to post tasks in the Mercenary Association, provides mercenary groups with task performance and reputation, and provides magic potions.

During the mission, she will kill at least 30 low-level monsters by herself. Under safe conditions, she will also harvest other monster heads, and obtain beast cores according to the mercenary group model.

A careful analysis of this agreement actually benefits Ye Mo. After all, she needs a more reliable partner than the mercenary group. Only by relying on the mercenary group can she grow relatively safely.

     Captain Hook agreed.

First, he trusts Ye Mo's character and ability, and second, because of her identity as a goblin craftsman, and said that during the mission, the consumption of magic potions will be shared by the team like other members.

Of course, brothers should settle accounts clearly. For the good of both parties, the cooperation agreement should be more detailed.

Ye Mo and the two captains talked about many details again, and a preliminary cooperation agreement was set during lunch.

Alice happily ate three chestnut pancakes and three pounds of magic beef in a row!

     "Burp!"

     Others: "..."

...

After lunch, before continuing to practice basic swordsmanship, Ye Mo first asked the archer Jack for advice.

Compared to swordsmanship, she seemed to be more suitable for bows and arrows, and Jack even called her a natural archer!

This title is a bit too high.

Facing shooting, Ye Mo still faced a lot of problems, only slightly higher than swordsmanship.

The first is that the body's agility and coordination need to be further improved, and the second is to understand that mental abilities are not inexhaustible and inexhaustible. Fighting is often continuous. How to make better use of superpowers requires constant thinking and constant practice.

【Survivor Ye Mo has been detected to have broken through the critical value of strength, strength attribute +1】

【Survivor Ye Mo has been detected to have broken through the critical value of agility, agility attribute +1】

【Survivor Ye Mo has been detected to have broken through the critical value of mental attribute, mental attribute +1】

Ye Mo has been training from the afternoon to late at night, training longer and at a higher level than the mercenaries, every second counts, and the three critical values of the attributes have been broken through one point in the process.

When the mental attribute value reaches 45 points, there is no system sound prompt, which should be the increasing difficulty of upgrading.

Captain Hook and others closed their mouths of persuasion after seeing a pile of recovery potions, and looked at the green short figure who kept swinging the sword on the training ground, and they were absolutely in awe of it.

Talent + diligence, if you keep going firmly, Maria is likely to become the first goblin strongman in the Celtic continent!

The next day, Ye Mo woke up in an unfamiliar environment.

The spacious third-floor room, the fresh air in the morning, the colorful flowers, the rich breakfast, the noisy friends... This unfamiliar experience is not bad.

After breakfast, the Wild Wolf Mercenaries rushed to the association to select tasks.

Monster materials, animal skins and meat, magic potion materials, and equipment materials, these four types of consumables constitute more than 90% of mercenary tasks. There will be tasks to take, but how to choose tasks is also a skill.

First, the Wild Wolf Mercenaries preliminarily determined the time range of their tasks this time - within 3 to 7 days.

The second step is to remove tasks that require fighting with medium and high-level monsters.

The third step is to remove tasks that are monopolized by large mercenary groups.

The final step is to remove time-limited tasks that require the collection of more than 500 monster crystal cores.

The remaining small tasks often need to be taken from one to five, which requires the mercenary group to select and integrate them by themselves. This matter is mainly finalized by Deputy Captain Thomson.

Others are also helping to look.

Alice's eyes suddenly lit up: "Maria, there is someone like you here!"

Ye Mo: '…What do you mean by someone like her?'

Following Alice's line of sight, a new task suddenly appeared on the task list -

"70 1st-level water monster crystal cores, 10 1st-level fire monster crystal cores, collect the following potion materials... and it must be guaranteed that Watson, the task issuer, personally kills 40 1st-level monsters, limited time: 7 days, task settlement: 13 gold coins + 50 silver coins."

Ye Mo: '...Completely different, this guy is much more money-rich than her.'

There is no doubt that this task is the most suitable for the Wild Wolf Mercenary Group at present. Thomson first asked Ye Mo for her opinion, and then the team went to the task arrangement point to find -Watson.

...

Soon, Ye Mo saw a familiar oriental face, a survivor, the last survivor to wake up in the space.

He looked similar to the one in the space, with a gentle temperament, except for a circle of blue dark circles under his eyes. It seems that he has not rested well recently. The magic robe on his body shows his profession.

This task is very popular for small and medium-sized mercenary groups.

A mercenary group was already communicating with him. According to the agreed principle, the Wild Wolf Mercenary Group waited until they broke down before going forward to discuss with the task publisher in detail.

Watson's eyes swept over Ye Mo, and his eyes flashed with surprise for half a second. It was not surprising that he recognized her.

The two looked at each other briefly and looked away at the same time.

During the conversation with Captain Hook, Watson spoke at a moderate speed, with a sincere attitude. He exuded a trustworthy affinity, and also won a high initial impression from the members.

Through the conversation, it was learned that this task was not issued by Watson, but by his potion master.

The potion masters in this world are not short of money, just like the Goblin Craftsmen. They rarely issue small tasks with only 1st-level monster crystal cores. The source of the task must be related to Watson.

Captain Hook deliberately gave Ye Mo's equal respect in front of Watson, which made Watson thoughtful and inadvertently glanced at the two weapons behind Ye Mo.

    "Happy cooperation!" ×3

After a brief exchange between the three parties, the hiring mission was successfully accepted.

The process of leaving the Irish town was similar to the previous one. Depending on the mission, supplies were added or subtracted, and then the journey was made on foot.

Watson's preparations were much more complete than Ye Mo's at the beginning. He was a wilderness survival enthusiast, and basically prepared according to the wilderness survival on Earth. Captain Hook only needed to make a slight adjustment.

In addition to the magic wand, his weapons also included a primary sword worth about 1 gold coin, which surprised the Wild Wolf Mercenary Group a little, although his sword-holding posture occasionally revealed a little uncoordinated peacekeeping sense.

Alice secretly guessed that they had met the second 'Maria', but in fact they were very different.

Watson was a water magic apprentice, and his physical strength was higher than Alice's overall, but the combat effectiveness of the low-level water system was much worse than Alice's fire system, and his speed and strength were not comparable to those of ordinary swordsmen.

On the way to the Magic Beast Forest, due to the problem of the primitive forest, Watson's overall performance was worse than that of the young girl Alice.

Fortunately, Watson's personality is the same as Ye Mo's, which makes his teammates worry-free. No matter how tired or hard it is, he is always calm. He can drink the potion with a smile without frowning when scratched by vines. He is a man with perseverance and hard work.

The team members gradually became familiar with each other.

Ye Mo and Watson can also chat a few words. They both use the language of the Celtic continent, which is a tacit understanding between the two sides.

On the first day, the goal of the Wild Wolf Mercenary Group is still to kill scattered monsters.

This can quickly examine new partners, train new team members in the group, and run in the overall tacit understanding.

The heads of the 1st level monsters belong to Ye Mo and Watson, and the heads of the 2nd level monsters belong to Ye Mo. Although killing monsters is very important to the survivors, neither of them has the intention to force it, so they do it in order.

Watson, who has just joined the team, can only wait until the monsters are killed and dying most of the time before he goes forward to harvest heads with a bronze sword, like an extra-staff member who is free from the entire team.

In contrast to him, Ye Mo and Alice, or Ye Mo and any junior swordsman, or even Ye Mo can kill the first or second level monsters by herself, with tacit cooperation in long-range and close-range attacks.

     Swoosh--

Two miniature short arrows shot out at the same time, one on the left and one on the right, hitting the wings of the flying eagle!

Before the flying eagle fell halfway in the air due to injury, Alice had already sent out a small fireball from a distance. Ye Mo quickly drew her sword with her bow, shuttled through the jungle like a gust of wind, and in the blink of an eye, the flying eagle fell to the ground.

     Ka-ka--

The flying eagle monster was killed neatly.

   【Side Quest 1: Hunting Level 2 Monsters (8/10)】

Ye Mo smiled with curved lips. It seems that the side quest was completed one step earlier than the main quest.
